XF 2.2 Mp4 videos not playing in chrome

My members that use Google Chrome are having issues with videos not playing over the past few weeks.

The videos are uploaded in mp4 and I can view them in Opera and Firefox but not in Chrome

Can anyone help?

Errr... since it works in others and not Chrome... maybe it's a Chrome issue?
If the version of XF you have been using has been doing fine, but suddenly it's not and you have not made any changes... odds are it's a browser issue.
What codec are your videos encoded in? If h264 then that may be your issue.

Exactly what I've said to people!!

We've always uploaded with h.264


if I download and convert to mp4; despite them being mp4, I get exactly (as far as my noob brain can see) the same thing

I Just found this too




All our videos are downloaded then uploaded on the forum as h.264. Is there anyway this can be overcome and converted on the forum with an addon?
