Moving from vBulletin 5 to Xenforo
I used to have our forum with vBulletin 4 and everything was perfect. Unfortunately our Webhosting shut down operations and I was force to move out.
We decided to move it to the vBulletin 5 Cloud solution, they migrated the DB and upgraded it to VB5 database.
The forums speed was extremely slow, and they ended up suggesting to move to a self hosted VB 5 connect version, which we did, speed improved but still slow comparing to the VB4. I was the worst mistake to upgrade.
Anyhow, We have been reading about Xenforo and looks very interesting. But we would like to know if Xenforo can handle a 16GiB database with 391k+topics and 4.9+ million posts. Just one thread has over 3.5 million post.
Here are my current server specifications:
Centos 6.10 KVM
cPanel/WHM v70.0.55
vBulletin 5.4.3
MySQL Version 5.7.23
