XF 1.5 Upgrading 1.5 to XF 2.0

Hello,

I am planning to upgrade a forum with approximately 40GB of attachments from 1.5 to the 2.x version.

Is there any change on the attachments side of things that I need to be aware of? Can I perform the upgrade without the attachments physically present or do they need to undergo a change?

I assume you're referring to making a test upgrade without the attachments. I believe that should be fine. There are avatar changes/rebuilds during the upgrade though.
