Unintuitive search behavior on results page, no add-on selector

Example:

Go to Resources. You want to search Resources so you enter your search term and select to search only Resources.

Next, let's say there are 0 results, or not the expected results. So you want to try a new term. You literally have to use the back button or click the Resources tab, because the search results page does not let you search Resources only. The selector is gone.

The suggestion: The search results page should have the add-on selections that you came from on the results page. This allows you to easily search a new term in that add-on, or expand your search to Everywhere if you desire (instead of this being forced). Or, save the add-on area setting so you just keep searching w/o having to select it again.

I need should mention this also include the This Forum/Threads/This thread menu.

Whatever you search, that should be available on the results page for continuation, and perhaps selected.
