Hello all,

I have a lot of error messages in my AdminCP in this form:

I don't know if the errors are caused by the UI.X style or if an addon is responsible.
I would appreciate if someone could give me some hints on how to fix the errors....

I just updated my Xenforo to the newest version and after merging the outdated templates using the custom changes, the user info for every message now shows this:

I thought it had to have something to do with UI.X / the theme, so I tried updating UI.X to it's newest version, but Xenforo is telling me that the .zip is not a valid archive:

I've also made a ticket on the ThemeHouse website, but after submitting said ticket, it is not showing up on my opened tickets.

That's a not-uncommon issue; We utilize Material icons and try to insert as many translations from FA to Material Icons as is reasonable, but not every icon gets at Material alternative.

I saw you switched to using FA, which is what I'd recommend in this context if you didn't want to go through and add your own alternatives.

Looks like you're using some old templates; modern XF versions of our styles shouldn't be using uix_icons.less. I'd suggest re-installing your style and making sure you aren't including that template in any of your customized templates.

Looks like maybe something got removed in the merge, or a template mod from an addon isn't quite finding/replacing properly.

Regarding the install, when you install a style you won't be loading the ZIP in the addons section; If you want to manually install you'll upload the files in the upload folder within the zip, and then install the XML(s) contained within the same zip under the Appearance -> Styles section of the ACP.

It should, yes; With the recent XF template changes I saw nothing that would've impacted that feature itself. Most of the template edits that weren't automatically mergeable were for the new back button functionality and the new meta data, but if you do have any issues be sure to let us know so we can investigate!

Ah, Yes. The installation of UI.X was definitely my blunder. Figured it out shortly after posting my message.

As for the issue, it was the template "post_macros" getting scrambled.
I fixed it by importing UI.X as an additional style and copying said template to my actual theme.
Absolutely no idea why that particular template broke during the update.
 
Can this style be installed via the ACP only, or does it require manually uploading directories and files via FTP?

Our Cloud service does not allow FTP or server access of any kind.
 
It requires FTP access to manually install it as I believe we had an archive importer before it was a core feature, and our archives aren't compatible with it and we haven't rebuilt how the themes get packaged. However our Install and Upgrade addon will pull in products (both addons and themes) with active licences from themehouse.com (even free products have a licence on your account) and will install them for you, which is our recommended way of doing it.
 
It is a free theme now, so not sure if there is an easier way now that we don't need a license for this particular theme.
