XF 2.0 Tracing template hierarchies

Hi -

XF2 - Beta 8

Is there a document that describes relationships between default templates? Or a tool that can process templates and plot a graph of which template is called for each page - a trace, or call stack in other words.

I appreciate each page has a data-template attribute which tells us where to start, but thereafter I'm spending a lot of time inserting trace strings in templates and pressing page refresh - with varying results.

Perhaps I've missed something? Won't be the first time.

If you've identified the base template for the page, that's really the only automated tracing that applies, though you should be able to identify how the page is built from there.

Thanks, No - I've enabled Designer mode and downloaded templates, which has helped.
