One of my users changed his username and was bumped from the top of the leaderboard back down toward the bottom of the pack based on how many posts his new username has posted. We don't do a lot of username changes, but we do occasionally, especially around the holidays when many of the more active members change to be more festive.

Un check the option on admin options > Top Poster.
Just enable your BD Widget.

If you have install BD Widget first, widgets for this Addon will be automatically added.
I encounter some problem:
If a user change his/her username, they will be gone on the top list and doesn't show anymore on the list.
How to fix this?
I already run the cron Top Poster Of Month Winner Declaration and Poster Of Month Cache Reset manually. Still not seeing the new username appear.

The addon works on user_id field, which does not change when the username is changed. It should be working fine without issues.
