Weird. Format (h1,h2,h3 tags) are the only thing that I am not getting and thats why I needed this wonderful addon. I have tables loaded fine and other stuff.

Edit: Got it now.

This is a great editor! I would like to get the smilies to show at the bottom of the post as they do in the default version of Xenforo. Is that possible?

Yes, go into the addon options. There's some settings for smilies ; use the "below box" mode.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a noob here...Can you tell me where I can find the options for the addon. I've tried Options, clicking on the add-on, styles -- I'm lost.

You're using the editor without its menu bar (a bar with menus at the top), so that means there are two buttons as your screenshot displays:
  1. The smilie button with the white background that is used for the fast smilies selection tool
  2. The smilie button with the black background that is used for the full smilies picker (the one you need to click on)
If you enable the menu bar, only one button remains (inside the menu). This one has the two features: on mouse hover, it displays the fast smilies selection tool, on mouse click it displays the full smilies picker.

I've installed ui.x theme and after that I have problem with this editor.


When I post a reply, the text still remain in the editor like I don't send it. What can I do for this problem?
 
Having trouble pasting images into the editor when using Chrome on OS X (Yosemite). The problem doesn't seem to persist in any other browser combination. Any ideas?

I'm on 2.5.3, FYI.

  1. Update to the last version (since TinyMCE has been updated as well)
  2. If the problem persist, you will have to provide more data to try to reproduce it... knowing that I don't have a OS X system right now

Try to see with the creator of your UI.x theme so it can target the problem. I can't do anymore custom debugging, especially with paid addons/skins.

Thanks - I guess it's not possible to get the smilies to show below the post with TinyMCE editor as the default version of Xenforo does?

Got it - I enabled the menu bar and yes the smiley showed up in a nice horizontal box. Unfortunately I don't want to use the menu bar because I don't want people to have to search for the smiley button. I prefer a smiley button already on the menu so that people just can click on it....(??)
