Edge users facing issues. Getting some headers on copy pasting which look like this:

It looks like the same issue reported for tinymce on GitHub: https://github.com/tinymce/tinymce/issues/3593

Seems to be fixed on 4.5.7:

  • fixed bug with selection around inline contenteditable false would get collapsed incorrectly.
  • fixed bug where pasting on Microsoft Edge 40+ would produce clipboard fragment headers.

Can we expect it to be fixed on this XenForo add-on as well?
I thought this add-on was unmaintained as its tagged as such but good to see @cclaerhout releasing a patch last month.
 
umm when debug mode enabled i get this error for TinyMce options page:

Thanks for your feedback. I was planning to upgrade to TinyMCE 4.5.7 since it's the last version that supports IE8-IE10. So yes it will be done, most probably this week.

For the unmaintained tag, I've asked nothing. So not my decision. As I wrote a long time ago, no new features will be added to my addons. No time for that. But If a security hole is found, i will fix it. For new features or code improvements... Xon is doing a tremendous work.

Nothing has been planned. No time & no motivation to keep on coding here, so take it as a no. This add on is under the CC by licence, so anyone can reuse the code.

@cclaerhout will you port to XF 2.0? or give the rights 4 some 1 else to do so... cozz i cannot live without this editor the the BBcode plugins add-one, unless XF 2.0 has something like this build in as advanced as this..

Really sorry to hear that. Guess this means I will never leave Xenforo 1.x. I can't use 2.x without this plugin.

ya i fell ya, i cannot upgrade to XF yet till i find out that my 50+ plugins will either be ported or are replaceable in XF2, just a shame this wasn't built into core of XF2
 
I have just installed this add-on so my users can copy/paste tables from excel. However it only pastes in the text, not an actual table.
Also on the menu bar Table > skins 1-4 are grayed out. I cant see an option anywhere to enable the table feature?

Is anyone else finding an issue where "Reply" is not working? It moves the browsers down to the TinyMCE editor, but does not insert the quoted text?
