As designed Thumbnail size issue

As discussed in the below thread. I believe there is a thumbnail resizing issue. 150 px in the nodes is not the same as 150 px in the MG. This may only occur after starting with a smaller thumb size and moving up.

My test galley has images posted directly to it as well as images mirrored. I originally set my MG thumbs to 125 X 125 but they looked too small so I reset to 150 X 150. I then ran the rebuild media thumbnails. No change in size. What am I missing?

There isn't really a bug here.

While we create the thumbnails to be the specified dimensions, they may appear smaller depending on where they're displayed and how much space there is in the container that displays them and what specific CSS and styling rules we apply in each location.

While, since XF 2.2, the attachment list is similar in appearance to a grid of images, it isn't necessarily designed to look identical to the appearance of the media gallery so there may be differences.

As such, there's no plans to make any changes here.

The real issue is a thumb set to 150px in a thread is larger than a thumb set to 200px in the MG
