i think what could be really nice on this one is an option to "sticky" threadmarks....
sometimes there can be quite a lot of threadmarks in a thread and it would be very helpful to be able to button press navigation to "featured posts", from anywhere on the page while viewing.

i am picturing a sort of bar across the bottom with position:sticky and a group of buttons.....then an option to sticky the threadmark when creating it....

@Xon is there a forum I can look at that this is on? I looked at both your spacebattle and velocity forums and I'll be honest, their was just so much stuff I couldn't figure it out. My forum is a single node and what I saw on your forums was just overwhelming to me.

Can individual users be granted permission to add threadmarks?

So admin+moderators and selected, individual members.

Yes, there are permissions for the thread starter to add threadmarks and then permissions for anyone to add threadmarks per-forum

Just one more question please - is there a way to remove the Threadmarks label field on the post editor? As below;



Threadmarks will be quite niche on my forum, and only added retrospectively so it feels a bit over exposure to have it featuring so prominent.

That feature only shows up if the user can add threadmarks. This means moderators or the thread starter, so for most users it will not appear there.

You would need to disable the Add an inline textbox to enable creating of a threadmark when posting reply. template modification or edit the svThreadmarks_quick_reply_macros template to disable this code
