When doing an advanced thread search the "any" setting for thread prefix is the default.

On iOS, if you select a specific thread prefix, "any" remains ticked as well as the prefix you specified.

On a related note, it doesn't seem possible to just search a certain thread prefix as you get the "Please specify a search query or the name of a member."

Say someone wanted to search for all confirmed bugs on here across all forums, it's currently not possible is it?

Unfortunately this is just how iOS multi select inputs work, so there's not really a great deal we can do here.

Nope, it never has been. The prefixes are more of a constraint or a filter rather than something to actually search on. We find the results based on the search query / member, then we filter out any results where the prefix doesn't match those selected (roughly).

So for that to change that would be more of a feature suggestion.

(Marking as a browser issue on the basis of the first point).
