Considering how you, and others, jumped all over him. Yes he is a victim of your actions.
Given how Adam has provided a lot of solid helpful advice and support over the months/years he has been here, to new comers and old alike, I don't think he would intentionally (or be stupid enough) to try and rip and re-release others work knowingly.
I think he may have been naive in his actions but not malicious.
