No, no it can't end! Not when I've just found the latest zit popping craze on youtube. Geesh, it's like crash, I can't help but look. how did I end up on that topic? Ever search the net and wonder how you got side tracked this much? LOL I can't even remember what I was originally searching for. Hum, Brad Pitt? Maybe, sounds like Bad Zit in a way. I dunno. I'm kind of questioning myself now. LOL

So anywayyyys, just when I've figured out the appeal of Star Trek/Wars, the world will end???

Kirk Out.

Well... consider this: maybe it appeals to people for a reason? :)

'2012' and the changes that 'it' brings are connected to outer space phenomena indeed. As stated by Caliburn earlier in this discussion:

Call me pessimistic but I do believe that something is going to happen in 2012 and I do believe it will significantly alter the evolution of humanity. This could be in the form of an ELE but is probably something else. I hope for disclosure and public first contact because I believe we're ready for it, and that it is absolutely necessary for our race to finally wake the hell up.

6 more months to go and counting...

lol I just saw this thread (clearly)

Pardon my noobness but I just got done with a chicano studies class and that movie 2012 was based of an ancient mayan prophecy. If you care to read further into the civilizations of the time who'd have believed in that prophecy, then you will understand it's not as bad as people are making it seem! Death was a form of life to them and this goes alllll the way back to the beginning of their history.

We're simply hyped up because they were right about their destiny. Every single prophecy of theirs has seemed to only affect their civilization. I'm not a history geek or extremely smart in this area but I doubt the END OF THE WORLD happens this year. I'd rather bet on the sun imploding 100 years from now before anything else on earth destroys all of humanity. Seems like another Y2k hype and that didn't really go to well for certain cultists and believers did it? Everyone else lived :)

We've adapted for 1000s of years and so has every other animal. Somehow we survive. Do you let other's write your future or do you write you own? I'd like to think i walk my own path in life and I will live as long as I can and as I want :)

I'm not trying to insult anyone who believes in this, but you should read up on the prophecy and the people. You should read up on their life style. Then and only then do I think you'll actually understand. Be sure to read with an open mind. You will obviously make up theories supporting the end of the world if you continually seek them.

I avoid history as much as possible ;) , so I actually don't know much at all about the Maya's predictions. But what I do 'know' is that the end of the world is indeed happening...although in a completely different form as how the majority of people would take it. It is meant in a metaphorical way, instead of physical.

The end of the world -as we know it- is something that is already happening and will take only stronger form in the time to come and -how unbelievably lunatic it may sound- outer space contact plays a big part in this. Something phenomenal is going to take place that will change the world: the end of the world as we know it. We live in mind-blowing times where we are going to realize that what's presented in a movie like 'The Matrix' is not so much a science fiction fantasy, but in fact a reality...

With new vigor and hope (xenforo´s update) i am going to buy the update license next month. So, i dont believe in 2012´s end... And if.... I've done my bit, at least.

I love the 2012 question. It's so dumb. In addition to this during the Roman Empire (long after the Mayans) the Gregorian Calendar that we use today was created...and with it the concept of leap year. The date that doomsday is suppose to fall on passed us just over 10 months ago. Naturally seeing that we're all still here I'd say it wasn't a true prophecy! I cant wait for the "doomsday" date...sounds like a plausible reason to take leave and have a party ;)

Getting scared ?
4
more
days.

No, but in anticipation (y).

One of the biggest things I am looking forward to is Disclosure. 4 years ago I had an enlightening experience for 3 weeks long, I found myself on an amazingly higher conscious level and was suddenly able to read people's mind/feelings, see through other dimensions (past lives and what have you), I found myself able to channel information from those dimensions... it was a truly mind-blowing experience those 3 weeks: it changed my life. When I was younger (1o years or something?) I loved the series 'Battlestar Galactica' but apart from that I was not much -if at all- interested in science fiction movies and stuff like that really... it would take 30 years for me to get 'hooked' so to speak. Because, during those 3 weeks of enlightenment I found myself in contact with an UFO. Since then I am absorbing channelings, websites, movies etc. about this unbelievable subject matter and I got to know people who also had experiences on this level. It is truly mindblowing.

All this is connected with '2012' and one of the most important events that are going to happen is the release of this movie:

Again, the end of the world has nothing to do with a psychical end, but with the end of an era. The old will be transformed in something new. It is the end of the world as we know it. It is about so-called Ascension. Which means that the Earth and everything on it will go to a higher vibration/frequency level. So, nothing to be worried or scared about... ;)
