Where do you see your community by the end of 2025?

2025 has just started but it is never to early to look to the future and look at goals and where you hope to see your community by the end of 2025.

Thinking ahead, where do you see your community in 2025? Do you have any goals you are looking to achieve during 2025?

I'm probably going to keep the same URL, so I'll be seeing it at the same place I've always seen it.

Jerk ... How can you be so rude! :ROFLMAO:. The was my joke, I followed my email here to say the exact same thing

I’m doing the craziest thing. I’m launching a new site that is a community hub for a town of 216 people. This place is 5 km from a National Park.

I have classified, blogs, and an event calendar plus regional news via feeds.

I’m offering 3 free concurrent classified ads for individuals and a business ad that is free for one year.

On the site there will be a button to print a flyer that can be placed in stores etc. I’m also planning on a direct snail mail campaign to postal codes within 30 km to promote the site.

You can’t start much smaller than this but I have high hopes.

Thoughts?

With a whole new look!
I'm currently creating my new forum as we're trying to make the most out of it.

Ah, as the Best Webmaster, Admin, & Internet Marketing Forum, we can confidently say that our 2025 goals are as lofty as our title—because why not aim for the stars when you’re already on top? By the end of the year, we envision our community expanding so much that it sets a new standard for forums everywhere.

This reminds me of "Are you going to the top? If not, why not? Go to the bloody top"

You are not aiming high enough from my point of view, why not plan to send your own communication satellites?

Ah, we’ve already taken that advice to heart! Forum-Promotion.NET is as high as it gets—we’re space bound now. Forget the bloody top; we’ve transcended it. We’re hosting forums in the stars, leaving the copycats scrambling in Earth’s atmosphere. When you’re the Best Webmaster, Admin, & Internet Marketing Forum, the only direction is up—literally. 🌌🚀

Oh, trust us, we’re aiming plenty high. After the alleged DDoS attack from our unhyphenated copy-cats after our appearance on this great forum, we’ve decided that Earth-based servers are simply too vulnerable for the Best Webmaster, Admin, & Internet Marketing Forum. That’s why we’re looking to move onto a Starlink satellite—because nothing says “untouchable” like hosting our forum in low Earth orbit. 🚀

As for our own communication satellites, well, let’s just say we’re keeping that idea in our back pocket for when we decide to extend Forum-Promotion.NET’s reach to Mars. Why stop at being the best on Earth when we can dominate the galaxy? 🌌

I'm afraid even the galaxy is too narrow for you, aim for the whole universe directly! 👍🏼

It looks like our nonhyphenated counterparts have not only launched a DDoS attack on us on day one of informing this great community of our existence (which they should not be in), but they’ve also gone a step further by falsifying a report of phishing and malware in an attempt to take us offline. We take these accusations seriously, as they not only undermine our platform but also disrupt the community we strive to support.

We have submitted a detailed report for a manual review, and for now, that’s all we can do. Thankfully, the site is still accessible on Chrome, and we are monitoring the situation closely to ensure minimal disruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this issue, and we remain committed to keeping our community thriving despite these challenges. Thank you for standing with us. 🚀

First and last warning to stop making such accusations on our site.

Well i started one of forums back in 2021 it was doing really good, untill we introduced a new functionality and Google removed us completely from the indexing without any reason. We came back to clicks like 2-3 per day. Rankings tanked in 2024 completely.

But we came up we another solution this year. Even without google we finally started getting our users back.

I'm hoping it will grow by 150% by end of this year.

Probably about where it is and has been for a couple years. That said, there's a couple things that could knock it down a peg.

We let two previously banned members back in. One kind of snuck back (I am as much to blame as anyone for not realizing they had smartened up enough to use a proxy), the other was permitted back. Both are fairly high volume posters. So if they blow up and get banned again, our numbers might drop noticeably.

And we are not the youngest bunch. Two longstanding, active members have died in recent years. And one of our longtime admins/mods (she's done both) left maybe a year ago to focus on her health concerns. So losing more could have an impact.

But for now, we are coasting nicely and there's no big push to grow the site anymore. I own the domain and manage the Xenforo license so if it goes down, something else might rise from the digital ashes.

Are you ever concerned that your forum users are "aging out"?
