There's a lot of little things here and there I've been fixing now that it's live though.

Even retained everything from vB4... daily stats, moderator log, reported posts (we had 250,000 of them), etc.

One little thing however, I do think your theme is a little disappointing, given how much went into the behind the scenes it would have been nice to see a more customized theme, rather than a color change on the default XF theme. Just my 2 cents.

I don't change something just for sake of changing it... I suspect we'll see little things here and there to make it more efficient/faster/etc... but our users are there for a purpose, they want a fast site over a pretty site any day.Congrats!

Have you thought about one of Arty's Responsive themes?
I think it would give a slightly more modern feel with the added bonus that it looks awesome and functions on phones and tablets also without the need for an additional mobile theme:

I'd maybe also suggest Arty's Responsive Add-on
The benefit of it is that you will not have to redesign your site around the theme. It's very good at taking what you already have and making it mobile web friendly.

Yeah, I looked a them a bit... not really too focused on fine tuning the style quite yet. Once things settle down that's next on the list.
So that Addon works with your own styles? I assumed it added its own style.
Also it looks like there's a slight bug on your site. You have 2 buttons to expand the sidebar at the bottom, one small and one long. The small one doesn't do anything (on ipad/safari).

YES.
There is the Responsive add-on which attempts to format what you already have. And the is also a theme called, Soft Responsive which is a completely designed responsive theme.
Can't confirm your issue (sorry).

You can add a lot of style without adding any "weight" at all, and still have it super fast, just a lot more unique and attractive.
For example, the greens that you are using do not really look that good together, you have blue hued greens in the header and footer areas, and more yellow hued greens in the body. The default border-radius on everything looks pretty tired now we have all seen it a billion times, lots of little tweaks could be made to improve the appearance and make it more appealing.
I do know that functionality is your #1 focus, and appreciate that, however a *little* bit of style never hurt functionality
