You should be able to fix this just by changing the permissions.

You need to allow all members to view posts in the social groups, regardless of whether they are a member of the social groups.

@Waindigo: Any update on the "forum names threads were made in missing from New Posts and Watched Threads" issue? I'm a member of @mistypants' site and am the one that reported the problem to her there when she upgraded to XenForo 1.2.3.

This wasn't an issue with your resource back when she had the site on XenForo 1.1.4, so I'm thinking it's something you did when you updated your resource for XenForo 1.2 compatibility?

Hello,

one of the group founders has left his group, leaving them without moderator-rights. Perhaps it should be only allowed leaving a group if there are no other members in the group or if there is at least another moderator.

When I click on a social forums rss icon to show the rss feed I get an error message saying that the page can not be displayed as rss feed.

Any ideas?

RSS feeds for social forums is not currently supported. Please PM me if you'd like to contribute to this.

i can now create thread

i have created a social category named "demo social category" on admin panel and under it i created 2 "social forum" named Group 1 and Group 2

but when i started to to post a new thread under any group the thread box always shows "There are no threads to display."

please help

Check that you have set up permission to view threads.

Just testing this out. Some nice work here. Couple of issues:

1. I unchecked "Show sidebar in social forum," and the sidebar went away. I re-checked "Show sidebar in social forum," however, and the sidebar would not come back. A bug?

2. Confused about permissions. Can't figure out the following:

a. how to show social forum contents and forum members *only* to those who have joined
b. how to get the recent posts sidebar block that comes via bd widget framework to respect permissions so that if a user has not joined a forum, he/she won't see thread updates in the recent posts block​
