All of the GIFs are recorded using GifCam. I used the text editor in the Xenforo Test Forums.

Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1.

    Google Chrome on Windows 8.1.

The behaviors of clicking outside of the text editor and losing partial focus, as shown, are different from each other. Is it possible to have these behaviors be consistent between the two web browsers, or they cannot be fixed?

    Thanks in advance.

This is simply internal browser behaviors. IE will drop a selection in an iframe if you click (thus creating a new selection) in a different frame.
