    - When a user performs a search, the search results page should display a parameter 'fs=' followed by the search term
    - The URL should also include a parameter and value 'cat=forumsearch'

I was asked by a coworker, its something to do with google analytics it seems, they advised us to add in an fs=(searchword) and a value of forum search to track what people are searching for

    would this be possible?

The search term is already in the URL (q=test in the above example).

I question the need to add a specific parameter to the URL for analytics purposes. The URL can be identified as a search URL by the search route that is already present in the URL.
