Tag Essentials [Deleted]

I am tracking. But then it would be great to make an additional tagess .css file and have the template of the thread list modified to include the new additional tagess .css only. Then users are at least be able to change the CSS properties in the new additional .css template. While with amending the properties to the very end of the EXTRA.CSS does not give them a chance.
Went ahead and took this approach for 1.5.2.

I'm planning to release 1.5.2 in approx. 1 hour unless anyone else has anything that needs to be changed. This is likely to be the last update of 2015 barring something critical coming up.

Daniel Hood updated Tag Essentials with a new update entry:

1.5.2

What's New:
  • Fixed a css issue that caused conflict with other z-index elements.
  • Fixed the styling of the "Edit Wiki" button on the wiki information page.
  • Prevented the wiki information from being copied in select situations.
  • Added an option to change the language of the wiki information.
  • Including a link to the wikipedia article in the wiki information.
    • May want to update the phrase "tagess_view_more_on_wikipedia"

Option to automatically pull wiki content from wikipedia for new tags (when the tag is first created, if this option is enabled, the wiki description will be populated with the content from wikipedia's api -- if possible)

@Daniel Hood, is there an option or solution to update existed tags with wikipedia description? I have 1000+ created tags.
Can that be somehow fixed with batch update or with some other solution?

There's not a ton I can do about this except leave it blank if that's the result. Ambiguous tags seem to give that message, and sometimes other ones do as well.

Is there something different we can do as far as standardizing the syntax to fix this? Maybe going the Stack Exchange route with -'s rather than spaces? I just tried United States and Henry Ford and neither of those worked either.

This would be useful, if possible. My vote would be to allow us to input the Wikipedia URL of the content we'd like to populate our wiki.

That's a good idea but I don't see it happening very soon. Maybe down the road though.

I attempted a few variations with their api and I can't seem to find it. If anyone else manages to, I don't mind adjusting the formatting. I just don't know their standard.

As listed in PM - Couple of bugs

Bug 1) Auto fill tags based on title does not work for XF RM. Looks like simple template modification can accomplish that.

Bug 2) Forum and thread prefix default tags won't delete once created.

Feature Request 1) All of Forum tags are auto-populated in tag box. I would like them listed as suggestions under the tags.

Appreciate if you can let me know if these can be incorporated. Otherwise, I will request someone for custom add-on.

I understand. Yesterday was Christmas and I didn't take a look. I really don't need the same stuff pointed out to me 2 or 3 different ways. If you're going to private message me, private message me, if you're going to post on xenmods, do that, if you post here, do that. Please pick 1.

I cannot replicate this. I will need to get admin and ftp access on your site in order to try to reproduce this.

I will have to look into this. Though this is more of a feature request than a bug since it was never advertised to work with XF RM or XF MG.

I will talk to you about a price for this in a private message (like you started the conversation in). The way it works is how it was intended to work when Stuart funded the creation of this add-on. I can potentially make it an option though.

Auto-fill tags based on title for XF Resource Manager.
I understand this is NOT advertised for RM but I think this would be a simple one"template modification" add-on to resource_add template from the same find/replace as thread create.
Would you please let us know if you can incorporate this feature so that it will be part of the system. We can make this change but need to do after each upgrade. Will be good if this is part of the core.
Thank you for consideration.

Daniel Hood updated Tag Essentials with a new update entry:

1.6.0

What's New:
  • Ability to limit a tag's usage to specific nodes.
    • When editing a tag, you can select specific nodes that the tag can be used within. If you attempt to use the tag outside of the allowed nodes, it'll be [silently] removed from the list of tags.
    • Thanks to @PrettyPixels for sponsoring the development of this feature.
  • Fixed an issue with removing the default tags from nodes or prefixes.
    • There was a bug that...
