Cannot reproduce Status comments

I noticed if you leave a status comment on someone's status, it only notifies you when the status author replies as opposed to anyone commenting.

I personally think it should notify you if anyone comments on it?

If this is the case, it's a bug. Will test later.

I made some tweaks to the alerts here, but I didn't change the code that relates to this as I couldn't reproduce it. Can you see if it happens again?
