The patched error doesn't happen with any of my current public add-ons, but I plan to release some add-on updates which can trigger this bug.

• Rebuild redistributable to exclude incorrectly included bad class extension.
  The 1.7.1 zip breaks the upload zip functionality! To recover;
  1. Disable the Standard Library by Xon add-on.
  2. Update the add-on
  3. Ensure the Standard Library by Xon add-on is enabled

I just installed it on two Xenforo systems, and no issues, using the INSTALL/UPGRADE FROM ARCHIVE feature built in to the ADMIN Console.

Perhaps try downloading a fresh copy and try it this way? Perhaps your download is corrupted and missing some files?
