is it possible to skip the album step and just upload photos?
e.g. the entire gallery is one huge album that any member can contribute photos into and clicking on any photos in the gallery page takes u directly to the photo.

I have some members who have created albums and have uploaded dozens of photos. There's a Photo tab on their profile page, but the tab doesn't show any of his photos. Photos are viewable by members (And tested public). Why isn't it showing his photos and how can I remedy this? Sorry if it's been answered. Thanks.

Any chance of adding a "Create New Album" and/or "Upload Image" button(s) to the "My Albums" page? Some of my users were unsure how to use the gallery since they didn't see that option on the My Albums page.

I'm trying to do this by editing phrases to show those links; problem is, I don't know what conditional I can use to only show those links/options to the user who's page it is. Suggestions?

Additionally, one other question. I have an album that says "This album has been deleted." Yet I can still upload new images, and links from existing images still work. What's up with that?

FYI, The issue of @Live Free is because of the addon Listing Threads in Particular Forums which add an extra tab in the Profile Page.

You can take a look on the template: sonnb_xengallery_gallery_index and sonnb_xengallery_album_view for those buttons with condition.

For the album with deleted message, it is soft-deleted and your account has permission to view it, therefore you still able to add/remove photos from it.

I have need for a redirect script (I think), not sure if someone can give me a hand with this or not.

Basically, I migrated all of the 4.2.x user album attachments (photos) into Xen Gallery. It's working fine, and all of the images are properly being served from the gallery. However, I have thousands of threads that have images embedded from vBulletin User Albums.

Can anyone help with a 301 redirect from the old user album attachment URL to the new Xen Gallery system?

Old Site (Embedded in Thread): www.website.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=1050&pictureid=6321
Old Site (Redirected when loaded in browser): www.website.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=11459
New Site Location (Photo is stored here just fine): www.website.com/xf/gallery/photos/photo-caption-name.11459/

With the same ID, I believe this can be solved with .htaccess. It is something like:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=([^/]*)$ /xf/gallery/photos/$1/ [L]

I'd like to re-request this one. I haven't purchased XenGallery or XenMediaGallery yet, but one of the drawbacks for XenGallery for me right now is the messiness of the iconography. Some of the drop-down menus could also be replaced with simple icons, giving the whole add-on a cleaner look and intuitive user interface.
