XF 2.1 Some posts are hidden

Hi,

A user of my new XenForo forums tells me that when he first visited a thread, only a few of the posts, first and last, were visible. After he'd posted, suddenly the rest of them showed up.

I'm guessing this is a feature not a bug and there is some way to turn it off. Help?

Had something reported to me a few weeks ago. As it turned out the user ignored a few members...

Thanks for the thought, but that isn't it. He can see all the posts after replying to the thread, but is only shown a sample when he first visits the thread. I think I've seen this happening, too. I'm guessing there must be a setting somewhere to economise on resources on long threads...

No, there has to be addon in play somwhere. Stock Xenforo doesn't do that.

Huh. There aren't any add-ons, except one that runs login and has nothing to do with thread display. Possibly my user and I are delusional (quite possible). Let's see if it happens again.
