Today I noticed today that a user posted a forum post in a group but it wasn't showing up in the "new post" widget. Is this how it is suppose to behave or is it a bug?

In regards to my post #420 , I did some testing and the button is not there if the user isn't an admin. So this seems to be ok.

Hi again,
I was curious if it were possible to pull data from a group news feed and put that information on a page?

I'm creating a custom page for a specific group and want to include an area on the page where the data from the group "News Feed" is pulled onto the page.

I also just noticed today after the update that the group forums says "You have insufficient privileges to post threads here." in every group. Not sure why this happened.

Scratch this, this was a permissions error on my end. For some reason my group forums was a child of a hidden forum and it was inheriting the permissions from that hidden forum. All fixed.
