I'm hoping that xenForo will allow some really interesting skins that can make it look totally different than the default xenForo.
Not that xenForo doesn't look awesome with the default style.
But one thing I liked about vBulletin in early days was that you (more often than now) saw skins that really looked different. Now it seems it's become so complicated that almost always it looks just like vBulletin stock-skin with different colors and a different header image. I suppose this has to do both with the construction of the template system and the level of style abstraction from content so every update doesn't demolish any custom style. But I'm hoping that it will be possible to really see some great creativity with skinning xenForo.
