XF 1.5 Should search find words in BBcode?

This time I will ask before submitting it as a bug.

I colored text "gray" in a test post, editing the BBcode by hand. I then searched for that color and the post showed in the search results.

I believe that the search shouldn't match the color that is inside a BBcode [].

I use ElasticSearch on my board. Stripping tags is something that ElasticSearch can easily do.

So, is it a bug?

We don't strip the BB code from the post, so this is expected. There are situations where this could be useful as some things are printed or part of the content (quote attributions and URLs).

But as it stands, this is known and working roughly as we would anticipate.

Alright. Thanks, though as it stands, it can confuse users who find posts and threads without the terms that they searched for.
