Welcome
I own a forum on the platform vBulletin® Version 3.8.7 ,The forum is large because the database is more than 3.5 GB.
I follow and like the xenforo platform, So I want to move from vBulletin® to xenforo platform.

Are xenforo developers offer a paid service for safe moving from vBulletin® to xenforo platform ?

If you purchase a Cloud subscription then we would perform the import and migration.

If you want a self hosted license then we would not be able to help but there are third parties who do offer such services.

Hello, I've sent you a message in your inbox: https://xenforo.com/community/conversations/

Thanks!

Thank you sir Brogan for the feedback,
When choosing Self-hosted XenForo licenses there is a paid add-on with the name "Installation Service", Does this add-on include a moving service process from vBulletin® to xenforo?

Hello, if the "Installation Service" does not include migration from vBulletin for example then what this "Installation Service" is helpful for?
To get the basic Xenforo online.

You have to do the basic installation, create an Admin account, then log in and use the importer addon to do the migration.

Consider the Installation as phase 1, and the migration as phase 2.

Phase 2 cannot happen without phase 1.

@MySiteGuy is an expert with migrations and could offer you the service.

Thank you for your answer, I think the $2000 amount for migration is enormous (that's what an expert here suggested to me in a private message), 10 times higher than the XENFORO license...

I’d suggest on trying it yourself. Once you acquire a license, you can setup a test board and import the vbulletin database. I think you can do this with a live VB forum since it’s just reading from it, but you can get a confirmation with XF support.

It’s fairly easy to do with the importer, and I highly recommend doing it yourself for the learning experience.

You can also use the test board to test out setting up a style that’ll suit your board. Once you’re ready to go live, you can just export the style from the test board and import it into the live board.

If you ultimately need help, you can then spend the extra money for someone to do the migration for you.

Thank you for your suggestion.
Unfortunately I have a vBulletin 5.7.5 and the converter only support vBulletin 5.3 .

It’s mentioned here that 5.6 works, so 5.7 is likely to work. If you run into issues, just open a support ticket with them. So doing a test migration would be the way to go, and get support if you run into any issues.
