Not a bug RSS Feed and Thread Prefixes

I have a few nodes that have default thread prefixes however when a RSS feed post in those node it does not take on that thread prefix .

The default thread prefix refers to the thread creation UI when you first load it. When you setup an RSS feed, you need to explicitly select a prefix and no prefix is a valid choice. As such, there isn't really a default value to apply here. You just need to select it in your feed setup.
