Is there gonna be a roadmap? I wanna know what is planned and in what priority.
I was wondering about this too.
Yeah, it is planned. We do need to organize our thoughts on this and continue pulling in feedback. There are plenty of suggestions to collate!
that's why it's good to have a closed beta group
Which I am sure there will be- before a public download.
Awesome. We can plan years ahead then. I reckon there'll be no IE6 support. Understandably.
Even MS is trying to kill IE6. It needs to die
I've seen it in IE .. it works.
And if you want to know what the real web looks like, get a REAL browser!
But in all seriousness, I am serious about that.
Surprised. Need to check on my VirtualBox.
I got all the latest ones. But my target audience is still "heavily" using it. But if XF works in IE6, I'll convert from vB3 pretty quick.
Have you tried to convert them to Firefox or Chrome?
Confirmed. It works in IE6. The only thing I've noticed is that the xenForo logo at the top right corner being highlighted.
No, that is just IE6 unable to handle transparent PNG image files.
I don't wanna force them. I ain't IB.
Not force, suggest. Honestly, you'd be doing them a favor. Maybe sticky a thread explaining why its better, or place one of those Get Firefox buttons on your site. A gently nudge in the right direction
I agree on the FireFox part, but suggesting Chrome... meh. Not a big fan of Chrome.
Good to know. Strange thing IE6 just won't die. So outdated but still there.
I've switched to Chrome full-time for months now. Don't really miss FF that much
I guess I'll do just that. Thanks.
