XF 1.5 Restore one user's posts from backup?

I had a user who made a script to wipe the site of all the content he controlled. I have backups, and I want to restore all the data
he changed.

Can I just import his data in XF_post from old DB and all is ok, or will xenforo want more than that?

I would be more worried on how the user was able to exploit the site with a malicious script first and foremost, sounds to me as if there is a security issue on your site/server.

No.

You will need to restore the entire database from the most recent backup.

If he just edited his posts and you store edit history, there is an option under the user's profile in the control panel to revert edits in the last X number of days.
