Resource Manager or not?

    My community is an anime & manga based community, and we want to release our first created anime and visual novel to public. The size of each episode around 25-30MB, for visual novel is 50-60MB.

    We want to store the file inside our own server.

    So, Xenforo Resource Manager or not?

    Are they videos? If yes, XenMediaGallery allows you to upload the videos and store them on your server I believe.

    Though if you want members to be able to download them to their computer, then the resource manager would be the way to go, whatever the file format,

    Actually I DO believe the latest version of XenMediaGallery allows video upload.

    You can copy an embedded video, but not upload. Until now I don't found a real upload for videos. Do you found one?

    I know this, but I'm not able to find the possibility for videos in the albums. Rights are set but only "Embed a Video" is there. Version 2.0.4

    In my opinion "Upload a Video" is for copying from Youtube ...

    Embedding a video would be for YouTube.

    Uploading a video would be from your computer.

    @Chris Deeming could confirm.

    Video uploading is a future feature.

    It was partially implemented but to get it working how I wanted would have resulted in a delay.

    This was announced in one of the many announcements made in the run up to the release of 2.0.
