XF 1.5 Redirect from phpbb to Xenforo

I just did a migration of my forum from phpbb to Xenforo and I'm having trouble getting the individual forum urls to redirect to the new XF page.

phpbb is currently installed in the /forum directory and XF is currently installed in the /community directory.

I'm really only concerned with redirecting my index page and the 4 individual forums. I figured since it's just 5 urls I could make a specific redirect for each one of them, but it only worked with the index page.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about this stuff to figure out why it isn't working or how to make it work.

There are some third party redirection scripts for phpBB which may work for you: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/categories/redirection-scripts.2/

If I were to give the 5 urls for phpbb and their XF counterparts, would it be easy to make a redirect for each one?

If it's just 5 URLs then yes, it could be done quite easily using .htaccess.

I was actually just able to get the redirect to work by using one of the scripts you linked to. I had to move my phpbb install into a new directory and then move my XF install into the old phpbb directory (/forum) which isn't exactly what I wanted to do, but it works so I'm going to live with it.
