Question about Xenforo API Before Purchasing

I have a home built forum system that I would like to convert over to Xenforo. I have been reading the documentation on the API and I should not have a problem migrating my user base but I don't see any documentation on how to create the threads and posts. I don't have any issue with coding it myself but was wondering if someone can offer any tips, suggestions or any other documentation on best course of action to take for this?

You would have to custom code an importer.

There isn't any documentation for that but you could examine the code for one of the existing importers and use it as a guide.

Xenforo comes with a bunch of importers for different forum systems.

You could take one of the existing importers and adapt it to your needs.
