XF 1.2 Question about responsive design

Sorry if this is an obvious question but it possible to "hide" certain custom pages/add ons/navigation links etc from appearing on the responsive design when being viewed on a mobile device?

Is there any guide or tips on how to do this?

You can either write custom CSS and media queries to create new triggers for things to appear or disappear or use predefined classes that do the same.
