Mike,

Have just checked, and confirmed that this is the correct place for the text (underline is mighty useful!), however it seems whatever i put in the box the font content does not change at all - even put Comic Sans MS to check, and yup - makes no difference to the font displayed at all :( bug maybe, or perhaps it's overriden somewhere else?? I can also prove since if i change the font size in the same place, the font size never changes.....

Please could you take a look - i'm starting to get complaints :(

Cheers
Paul

Sure can Paul, mind PMing me a link to the board with the theme?

Now that Quark is installed with no parent I think I actually prefer it as a child of UI.X so that I can make many of the same changes on just UI.X instead of all the themes. For Antiquark, I added it as a subtheme of Quark with the child theme .xml, but Quark does not have this. If I wanted to, could I still use Quark as a child of UI.X, or will I be seeing some issues further down the road?

We changed it to this method because it was causing so much frustration, and since we've made the change it has been perfect. Other benefits include that we can update Quark without having you update UI.X. There are tons of benefits for both us and our awesome customers like yourself.

That said, for many who love really diving into the customization, I can see how child theme can help especially if you want to make global changes to multiple themes of ours and your perhaps even your own custom themes. When we release our developer license, we will allow for child themes to be included as well. Since this causes us more support, the developer license is to be a subscription though. I do apologize if this is an inconvenience!

No problems - Thank you Mike :) PM on the way....
Paul, so sorry I linked you to the wrong place. Here is the correct place:

I see, I didn't actually try setting Quark as a child, I figured it would still work, but I guess not, good thing I asked. I can live with it though. :)

The child theme is just a small preference so I don't think I need the developer license. Although I'm interested in reading more about what else it includes. Where can I find out more information on this? I remember reading something similar a long time ago. Just dug up this thread, but not sure if that is the same thing as the developer license: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/audentio-design-membership.67829/

Since Quark now 'includes' UI.X there wouldn't be the added benefit of having the settings recurse down sadly.

We are going to be releasing it in a few weeks. We are going to offer ALL themes for one either monthly or quarterly cost which will come with child theme .xml files, early release access, beta UI.X access, and a few other perks!

Ok thanks for the Fast answer, a other question, in your styles there is a "AD Styler" is it possible to set up that different categories and/or nodes change automatically this style?

im looking atm for a new style so my many questions, but i have no chance to test it so i must ask you :)

an other idea, in your fooder you have a donate section, is it possible to put there the sidebar box from the Donation Manager?

No problem. And this is not possible with the styler but is available with XenForo itself. So what I would do is make child themes called like Quark - General Talk, Quark - Gaming, or whatever your category nodes are. Then, go to the node list tree and you can set the style there.

No trouble, ask any questions! :)

So long as the dev allows you to change the hook location (you would want to ask them), then yes you can just select hook:uix_footer_col1 I believe and you can have that show up there.
