I know there are a lot of gamers on this site, so I decided to create a thread.

What is your proudest gaming moment?

Mine is kind-of violent, and there is some swearing....

The reason why I am posting is because I'm a gamer and I like to show off my skills from time to time, and this is one of them. :)

Thats an easy one.

1980. I wrote a Star Trek video game for the TRS-80 Color Computer, complete with battle computer based on real trigonometry functions, and had it published in Hot Coco magazine. They interview me for the article, and quote me as I explain how I wrote it, how I did the graphics and the battle computer and I explain the mathematics behind the torpedoes and phasers.

I also explain how part of the Basic program pokes a set of arrays into memory because I couldn't figure out how to do it in Basic, but I could do it in assembler, so I hand translated the assembler code to 6809 machine code and thats what the pokes were loading.

The coolest part was the last paragraph before they listed the program.

"Oh yeah, and did we forget to mention he's a 14 years old?"

Minecraft, every time you find a diamond you gotta be proud xD Takes a lot of digging and time (without cheating, of course).
