The Lexicon Rift integrates gaming news with community engagement by using XenForo as its foundational infrastructure.

Having used XenForo since its pre-release stage and supported four different communities over the years, we decided to take the next step: creating a fusion between a fully custom frontend and a heavily adapted headless CMS, all centered around a fully functional XenForo-based community.

We built the platform by leveraging XenForo's API and user management capabilities as a single source of truth for authentication across the entire system. This federated user provisioning approach means community members can seamlessly transition from consuming articles to discussing them within the same authenticated session, with article comments directly interfacing with XenForo's discussion threads.
