XF 1.5 Problem with sending eMails

Hello xenForo Community,
I got a self signed SSL certificat but when I try to send an eMail via TLS I got the following error message:

ErrorException: Email to xyz@xyz.us failed: stream_socket_enable_crypto(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed - library/Zend/Mail/Protocol/Smtp.php:206

But when I send an eMail via Roundcube/Thunderbird all is working aswell.

PHP 5.6 verifies certificates by default. We don't currently expose a way to disable this. You'd need to add your certificate to your server's trusted CAs (system specific approaches, concept here: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/90450/adding-a-self-signed-certificate-to-the-trusted-list) or use a certificate from a trusted authority.
