Fuhrmann updated Prefix Forum Listing with a new update entry:

Version 1.2.4

To upgrade just copy the new folder and overwrite the old folder and upgrade the add-on using the new .xml in the .zip file.

- Bugfixes and added option to clean the cache built by the addon. Go to Tools > Rebuild Caches and see at the bottom.

More updates to come.

There should be an option for at the end.. like "All" That reverts back to show all topics.. Cause once you saw the prefix topics and changed your mind and want to go back to all the topics.. so you dont have to press back on your browser...

Do you mean when you click in one of the prefixes? If yes, there is a "X" button on the right side to clear the current prefix and see all threads.

For what? To show the prefixes? Yes.

The list of prefixes comes from the cache (prefixCache), so no query.
If the number of threads per prefix is already cached, there is only the query to get the cache from the data registry table.

If the cache is not present, there is a query to set the cache and for each prefix a query to count the threads in that prefix.

And the queries are per forum, not thread.

1) Is there a way to move the prefixes to sideblock to look similar to "resources categories/faq/help manager" rather than showing on the top? I am looking at prefixes arrangement only and not in RM.

I am using this for a specific node and would like to have a sidebar with categories in it.

The author already has a nice tutorial on how to create sidebar and I am trying to see if prefixes can be inserted into it.

I can pay for the work.

I'm guessing this is a no, but I'm crossing my fingers!

Is there a way to select which prefixes are displayed? In the screen shot it looks like you can only set the number of prefixes shown.

I agree, a Widget Framework add-on to add prefixes to the sidebar would be great!

Would be great if u can aa=dd the ability to filter multiple prefixes.
At the moment you can only filter 1 prefix.

Using @Daniel Hood's [XenMods] Multi Prefix I noticed that only the first prefix show up directly after the thread is created.

Threads just created:


Also if I delete all threads the prefix is still showing up on top of the page.


Both of these issues is fixed by manually clearing the prefix cache.
I tried to wait several minutes but nothing happened, is there any time out of the cache?
