I would be wary of using Speedtest. They were hacked a couple weeks ago and users that visited the site during that time got a trojan dropped on them. If it happened once it can happen again.

I gotta say...The US sucks for internet speed. I pay a metric f-ton of money and am not getting what most of the Europeans are. I'd love to know how much they pay to get a relative idea.

I pay £40/$60 a month, which includes phone
It's Fibre, "Up to" 80Mb down and 20Mb up.
I can sometimes max the download at 7MB/sec
Upload is around the 1.8MB-1.9mMB
