OK, this is most embarassing after looking at everyone else's results here ... :(

Here are my speedtest.net stats (without copying the graphic):

Download: 2.83 Mbps
Upload: 0.47 Mbps
Ping: 16ms
Server: Los Angeles, CA.

I am using AT&T DSL, the fastest (they say) they can get to my home without a T1 line (or whatever).

What are you guys using to get most much faster speeds?

I have a fiber connection as it's standard for my building. Most speeds great than ~40Mbs use fiber or wireless (http://support.summersault.com/bandwidth_chart.html)
 


For some reason, it's insisting on going through KS when I'm on the west coast, but... whatever. I guess it's cheating anyway, it's my work connection as that's where I was when I read this thread. It's through a proxy and all of that too though so... not too bad considering. =)

In my country, you can get 10Mb/s or more speed if you are:

1. A very rich person.
2. Using speedtest with college/datacenter connection.
