This isn't so much a request as an idea for something which might make a cool addon if anyone wants to go with it.

I was just reading our forums and saw quite a funny post and it struck me that being able to quote a post and add it to some sort of "hall of fame" would be quite cool.

I guess the idea would be that users (based on permissions) would be able to add a post they thought was funny/whatever to a hall of fame and then everyone else could rate them to push the best ones to the top.

Would you kind of say it is like stickying a post, but in a more user based way which conveys the posts in a better way?

Hmm not really as I'm talking about posts, not threads. It's more about adding good content into one place and then displaying it, for example in a Masonry/Pinterest style.

Would a quote system integration suffice?

My work list contains an item called "Rewrite QdbS". Integration with xF should be easy.

Yep that's along the lines of what I was thinking but maybe more intergrated into XF.
