XF 1.4 password protect admin.php question

I've tried this once using the instructions
https://xenforo.com/community/resou...and-the-install-directory-using-htaccess.353/ which resulted in password protecting the whole forum. These steps seem wrong:

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Click on Password Protect Directories
3. Select Web Root
4. Click on the forum root folder
5. Check Password protect this directory
6. Name it as "ACP"
7. Click Save

That would apply to the /forum and not /forum/admin.php right?

No, if you also follow the instructions prior to that in the resource about adding some code to .htaccess then it works as intended.

Oh and questions about that resource should be posted in the discussion thread for that add-on.
