XF 1.2 Options: Spam Management: Maximum Messages to Check for Spam

For whatever reason, I'm having a hard time trying to understand this option:

Maximum Messages to Check for Spam
Users will only have their messages checked as spam until they have successfully posted this many messages. Use 0 to disable all spam checks.

Option set at '5'. Does this mean if user posted 5 times (the default xF value), user will be exempt from the SPAM cleaner?

Yes.

Once the post threshold is reached, their messages will no longer be checked for spam.

Not exempt from the spam cleaner - there are separate thresholds where that can be used. But as @Brogan says, their messages will no longer be individually checked for spam-specific behaviors.
