On my 1.1.0 rc1 forum the avatar always shows as "unspecified" gender in the news feed (even though the user in question has a gender set). Bug I say.

This is a design issue if you choose to cache the news feed -- we cache the whole record, and that includes avatar state, so it won't change if the user changes it while it's still in your feed. Disabling the "Cache User News Feed" option will fix it by always being live.

    Confirmed. It's the cache option.

OK. Well you guys probably know if the issue can be solved or not I guess, it's not a big deal.

PS: when I disable the cache option in my test forums, it shows only new news feed entries, enabled it also shows old entries from 2010, normal behavior?
