Okay, so I have 2.0.1 installed.
I created a Page Node called 'Test' and added it to the Public Navigation without a parent in order to get it to show in the top navigation area. When I click on it, I see the test content that I have added. However, the tab for 'Test' isn't highlighted. Instead the tab for 'Chat' (addon by Siropu) is highlighted. I chose the 'type' in the navigation edit page as 'Node' and selected the 'Test' page in the drop-down menu.
Is this a problem with the chat addon? Or something else?
I tried disabling the chat addon to see what would happen. When actively on the 'Test' tab, it didn't highlight another tab but is also didn't highlight the test tab either. All other tabs become highlighted when I click on them.
I'm using the default theme.
