XF 2.2 Is there a way to reassign a thread to a different user?

Is there a way to make a thread started by user A now be started by user B somehow?

Not out of the box; only with an add-on (I beliefe there is one).

There is an add-on to change post author.

But as a "fudge" workround you can:

• find an existing post by B that is timestamped earlier than the A original (only works if one exists)
• copy that post to a new thread
• merge the two threads (original A, new B) such that the new B thread is the remaining.
• merge the first two (A and B) posts
• remove the redundant text from the original B post and/or any other tidying up.
