I love quotes! One of my favorites:
It is not the bullet with your name on it that you need to worry about, but rather the shrapnel marked to Occupant.
I love quotes as well. Very nice quote, I have read it to before.
I can't recall who wrote it.
Here is another I like:
Honesty is the cruelest game of all, because not only can you hurt someone - and hurt them to the bone - you can feel self-righteous about it at the same time”. Dave Van Ronk
ugh and that is oh-so-true.
Never, ever, argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.
One of my MLK favorites.
I've read this one aswell... something I have to do.
I like the quotes, even I don't understand them well.
“Opportunity comes but does not linger” - Unknown
I never really understood that one. Does this mean he wins the argument?
lol it means an idiot will drag you down to his level of idiocy and beat you in his own game. lol
yep. Means he'll goad you into an argument, then when you give in and argue with him, he will out-argue you.
Okay, but... how is he an idiot, if he's winning the argument? Assuming that the goal of an argument is indeed winning it, of course.
well ... that's easy idiots define winning a little differently
"Dream like you'll live forever. Live today, as if you'll die tomorrow." Or some variation there of. I don't know who said it, but its amazing.
Normal is overrated.
