I downloaded the package to check the server's requirements and it seems all right.
Which of these is my mysql version? in any case, you can install xenforo, with these requirements

Database servero

• Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
• Server type: MariaDB
• Server version: 10.1.31-MariaDB-cll-lve - MariaDB Server
• Protocol version: 10
• Server charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)

Web server

• Database client version: libmysql - 5.1.73

phpMyAdmin

The MySQL version you have is fine. It’s actualky MariaDB 10.x which is equivalent to MySQL 5.5 or above.

As long as the requirements test script says you’re fine, you’re good to go
